On Friday, 20 September, a new collective agreement between the PPDIV union and Sardina’s management board was signed. The contract will be applied retroactively, starting from 1 September. It will increase salaries by 10% for split-shift work and make corrections to the coefficients for specific jobs. Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the agreement and expressed hope for the company’s successful business operations in the future, which would certainly improve the incomes of its workers. Both sides also emphasized that the new collective agreement provides workers with greater safety, the employer with stability, and the union with a continued partnership.
