Korean fritters made from Adriatic Queen tuna fillet in salted water

Ingredients

• 2 cans Adriatic Queen tuna fillets in salted water
• 1 tablespoon olive oil (for frying)
• ¼ onion (finely chopped)
• 30 g carrots (finely chopped)
• 2 eggs
• 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
• 2 teaspoons grated cheddar cheese (optional)

Preparation

1. In a large bowl, mix the tuna, onion, carrot, eggs, garlic, flour, salt, pepper, and grated cheddar cheese, if desired.
2. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined into a thick and compact mixture.
3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
4. Take the mixture with a spoon and form small pancakes, press them lightly and flatten them in the pan.
5. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until the fritters are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
6. Serve the finished fritters warm with a side dish of your choice, such as yogurt, soy sauce, kimchi, or a light salad.
